The Haunted Library – Events this October!

The Friends of Lakenheath Library are ‘frightfully’ proud to announce that they will be hosting not one but TWO ‘terror-ific’ Halloween-themed events for families in the library on Tuesday 30th October.

First up, the “Halloween Spook-tacular” is taking place between 3-5pm and is aimed at guys and ghouls under 7 and their families. “Spooky” stories will be read; arts and crafts sessions will allow children to create trick-or-treat masks or decorations for their homes; there will also be face painting and a puppet show, as well as all manner of themed games and activities.

The “Creepy Crafting” session continues from 5-7pm for any older children (8+) and their families who want to continue with their creative designs but are a bit too old for face painting and puppet shows. There will also be “Monstrous” music played and a reading of an even spookier story.

What’s more, both events are completely free of charge so you have absolutely no excuse for not grabbing your broomstick and flying (or just plain walking) over to Lakenheath Library this Halloween!

In related news, F.O.L.K. members will be meeting in the library at 7pm on Monday 22nd October to go over final plans and preparations ahead of the events the following Tuesday.

  1. Good info. Lucky me I came across your website by accident (stumbleupon).
