Bookfest Event Announcement

bookfestAs part of this year’s county-wide celebration of books and reading, Suffolk Libraries Bookfest, F.O.LK. and Lakenheath Library have joined forces with our neighbours at Brandon Library to co-host a unique event during the ten-day festival, which runs from 21st-30th October.

nicci-frenchAt Brandon Library from 7pm on the evening of Sunday 30th October bestselling author Nicci French(the pseudonym for husband and wife Nicci Gerard and Sean French) will talk about their long success in thriller writing and reveal the secrets of working together. Living in a village in Suffolk, Sean takes to the garden shed and Nicci is in the attic during their working day. So how do they collaborate on each book? Are there arguments? When do they write alone and when do they collaborate? Can we tell who wrote what?

nicci-french2Come along to find out more about this fascinating, warm and generous creative couple. Tickets are available in advance from Brandon and Lakenheath Library. Alternatively, you can book online from the Suffolk Libraries website or call 01473 351249.
